The trouble with writing one really good/meaty post is trying to write the next post. But it doesn’t have to be good or meaty or profound. The whole point of Blogtoberfest is to blog every day. So, here I am, blogging again.
Due to the firewall issue at work, it looks like setting up my post the night before is the way to go. And it’s like pre-accomplishing something for the next day.
The clouds finally started to break up late morning. First the buildings re-appeared, then some brightness in the sky, then a bit of blue and actual full blown sunshine. I always forget how much a string of cloudy days affect my mood. Just a little bit of sun turns everything around.
If you’ve been following my Instagram, you’ll have seen that the crumbling mural on the building being demolished finally bit the dust. It’s a sad but fascinating process to watch a building come down in stages. Hardly any progress, then bam, everything seems to be gone at once. There’s still a fair bit of structure to go, but there’s more empty space than building left. Of course, it could be all gone now, who knows.
It’s rather nice to look out my window and see the Philly skyline again. It’s a pretty skyline. Even with another penis building going up thanks to Comcast. But what skyscraper isn’t at least somewhat phallic?
There. I have done a blog. Maybe tomorrow night I’ll be more inspired. Or maybe not. One never knows. 🙂
