N. M. Bunting grew up in a small town on Lake Michigan and continues to grow up in the slightly larger town of Philadelphia. When she’s not curled up with her cat and her laptop working on her next novel, Nik loves to explore her adopted hometown, snapping pictures and hoping to trip over the ghost of Ben Franklin. If it’s a bit too cold out, she’s more than happy to keep warm knitting her way through a skein of colorful yarn.

Having spent over twenty years of her life writing, the last ten of those professionally, Nik doesn’t think she’ll stop anytime soon. While these days she’s decided to use her own name, you might have run into her a time or two before as Emery Sanborne or half of India Harper. The name might be a bit more mundane, but there’s still plenty of adventure to go around.
