So, showering in a claw foot tub with a shower sprayer thing and low ceilings is…an adventure.
The water, much like at my house, is reversed. Cold is hot, hot is cold (it’s an easy fix on my shower that in, what, two, three years? I haven’t fixed, but whatevs.). Once I sorted that, all was well water wise. Excellent pressure and temperature.
Next was the showering. Wet down, soap up, rinse off. Fairly easy in theory, and easier once I figured out the mechanics of crouching, squatting, bending. I bumped my head maybe three times on the ceiling. Steph won’t have any issues. One of the few times I envy her not tallness. 🙂
Above all, I managed to keep most the water in the tub, so, yay!
So the little cottage has it’s quirks, but they’re sort of endearing. It’s pretty cozy, the bed is clean, and there’s indoor plumbing. Ticks all the boxes for me, so it’s all good. Add in wifi, and I’m REALLY good. 😀
